Following a FREE no obligation consultation where we can discuss the feasibility of your proposals, we will produce a formal quotation with a detailed breakdown of the costs to undertake each element of the design process to gain Planning permission. This will also give you the opportunity to peruse our portfolio of previously undertaken projects and discuss any concerns you may have.
If this quotation should be of interest, Miles Draughting Services will arrange a suitable time to undertake a detailed measurement survey of your property. This will enable us to produce the relevant drawings required for submission of the Planning Application based upon the brief as set out from the initial consultation. This survey usually takes around 2-3 hours to complete and drawings are usually completed within two weeks.
Upon completion of these drawings, a second meeting will be scheduled to approve the designs prior to submission to the local Planning authority. This meeting gives you the opportunity to make any amendments to the design to ensure it is right for you. Following client approval of these designs, Miles Draughting Services will then submit the Planning Application along with accompanying information required and act as your agent where we will manage the whole Planning process until a decision has been reached.
Following Planning approval, detailed Building Control drawings and specification will be produced and submitted for approval. Once approved, these drawings will enable your chosen contractor to price/build from. In some cases, a Thames Water Build over agreement may also be required before work can commence on site however, this can be managed under a separate application on your behalf.
